What would my responsibilities include ?

Responsibilities vary widely from job to job, depending on the ages of the children, their specific needs and the particular requirements outlined by the familes. As a Babysitter or Nanny, you may be required to provide a meal or snack for the children, entertain and engage the children in activities and follow through with the family’s bedtime routines.

For each Assignment, you will have the families contact details, outlined expectations and in-depth information regarding the needs and routines of the children in your care. The Assignment Information details will assist you with understanding your responsibilities so you that feel supported in your role.

How many children would I be responsible for ?

Our ratios are a combination of legislative standards and our experience of providing high quality care. For 3 – 4 years up we have a 1:4 ratio, for babies it is lower and for group bookings you will be appropriately matched for the number and age groups of children. We value the importance of children’s safety, happiness and well being.
